Baltimore Maryland is celebrating its 28th year for the annual Artscape Festival being help in July 2009. The Artscape 2009 Festival taking place in Downtown Baltimore features some of the nations best arts and craftspeople, visual art exhibits, live music, performing arts, children's entertainers and much more.
The Baltimore Artscape 2009 is America's largest free public arts festival featuring over 150 artists, fashion designers, and craftspeople. There are on and off site visual art exhibits, three outdoor stages with live music, and live perfoming arts including dance, opera, fashion, theater, film, and performances by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. The Artscape Festival is also a family fun event with hands-on projects, demonstrations, children's entertainers, and an international menu of food and drinks.
The event is held outdoors in tents, and inside the neighborhood’s premier exhibition spaces and performing arts venues. It is also handicapped accessible.
