While there are a handful of great neighborhoods throughout the Baltimore area, Federal Hill holds a special place in many residents and visitors hearts due to its bounty of great restaurants, attractions, and awesome events throughout the year.

Some of the most notable events in Federal Hill include the Spring Block Party, the Jazz and Blues Festival, and the Street Beat Festival.

This year, the Spring Block Party will go down on Sunday, April 29 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.  This neighborhood block party will take place on East Cross Street just south of the historic Cross Street Market in Federal Hill.

The Spring Block Party will feature 10 different bands on two stages throughout the day and is perfect for kids and adults alike in the Baltimore area.  Admission is $5.

The Jazz and Blues Festival will take place on Sunday, June 5 this year from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on South Charles St. in Federal Hill.  Here guests can enjoy some of Baltimore's best live jazz and blues while chowing down on some great food and browsing vendors selling hand-made jewelry, fine art, antiques, crafts and more.

The Street Beat Festival typically takes place in mid to late September with a date to be determined when the Ravens' schedule is revealed.  This Federal Hill festival is typically the biggest of the year with an eclectic mix of bands playing on three stages all throughout the day, great food, unique vendors, and much more.  It typically takes place at the intersection of South Charles and Cross Streets in Federal Hill.
