Sun, culture, community, and commerce are the name of the game at the 2012 Summer Solstice Festival going down on Saturday, June 16 at Chesterwood Park in Baltimore.

This annual arts and entertainment festival is an ideal summer event for the Baltimore residents and visitors alike of all ages.  Going down in beautiful Chesterwood Park, the 2012 Summer Solstice Festival will feature a full day of live music, arts and craft vendors, children's activities, and more.

The 2012 Summer Solstice Festival music line up will feature awesome musical acts including headliners Talk of Spring from Louisville, Kentucky as well as Strum the Fox, Bristols, Dirty Secret, and Clockbreaker.

In addition to live music, there will be a handful of arts and craft vendors selling unique gifts, jewelry, wall art, and more as well as food vendors selling a ton of tasty Baltimore eats.

Beer fan?  There will also be a variety of craft brew vendors selling an assortment of delicious microbrews and more at the festival.

The 2012 Summer Solstice Festival kicks off at noon and runs until 5 p.m.  If you still want to keep the celebration going, there will be a Summer Solstice Twilight After-party from 7 to 11 p.m. at Dangerously Delicious Pies located at 2837 O'Donnel St. in Baltimore.
