    Baltimore is a colorful, diverse city that hosts a variety of activities, it's an independent city and the largest city in the state of Maryland. It was founded in 1729, it is a major US seaport it's closest to the Midwestern markets. This city was named after Lord Baltimore the founding proprietor of Maryland's Colony. The following are some of the things you can do when in Baltimore; The Chesapeake Bay is a wonderful place to keep events like weedings and is awesome to visit for the crab festival; The Boat Shows in January displays yachts, sport fishing, watercraft and sail boats; The Ghost Tours are award winning tours at Fells, Point and Mount Vernon; the Heritage Walk is a 3.2 mile trail thru for fascinating centuries of American History; Baltimore Symphony Orchestra is internationally recognized there are over 100 concerts a year; Water Taxis are a form of transportation: it offers one price for all day unlimited on off service at over 30 attractions and areas. Don't forget the Historic Mt. Vernon Belvedere District , this solidly fashionable and lively neighborhood is reputated for its world renowned mid 19th century architecture. Cylburn Arboretum is a garden and nature preserve more of more than 200 acres. There are many Museums to visit.
