The Reginald F. Lewis Museum welcomes Keith Saunders, a Baltimore native and Ballet Master of the Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH), for a demonstration and talk on the opening day of the Dance Theatre of Harlem: Forty Years of Firsts exhibition.

Event Details

Saunders was chosen in 1975 by DTH founders Arthur Mitchell and Karel Shook to be one of its first dancers. He rose to become a principal dancer of the company and has served as its ballet master since 1996. His demonstration and talk will draw on his more than 40 years of dance experience.

When: Saturday, April 18, 2015, 1:00 p.m.

Cost: The presentation is included with admission to the museum. General admission is $8. Admission for senior citizens (age 65+), youth (age 7-17), and students (with ID) is $6. Admission for members, children under the age of six, and Maryland Public School teachers is free. Tickets can be purchased at www.rflewismuseum.org, by calling 443-263-1875 or in person.
