Us beer drinkers have been getting some mad love and a bunch of new friends as of late.  In 2010 alone, sales for craft beer rose nine percent making our beloved beer a 7.3 billion industry.

It only makes sense that one of Baltimore's newest watering holes would cater specifically to this admittedly awesome breed of booze drinker.

Luckie Liquors, opened in April 2011 is a one-of-a-kind, inventive dive in Power Plant Live! specifically catered to us brewfolk and others as well.

Take a seat at the bar, grab any one of their 75 different tall, cold cans, and enjoy some  complimentary peanuts.  When you're done, toss the shells on the floor like the true heathen you've always secretly wanted to be.

If you're looking for swankiness with plush, modern decor, you probably want to go elsewhere.  Luckie's vibe can only be described as historically Baltimore with much of its decor coming from scrap yards around the area.

Food is also available at Luckie's.  While you enjoy your can of beer (all priced between 3 and 5 bucks), nosh on classic menu items like Luckie's Swingin' Wings, One Armed Bandits - Spicy deep-fried pickle spears served with Ranch dressing, and Firecracker Shrimp - six hand-battered shrimp fried, tossed with Wally's Hot Sauce, and served with Bleu Cheese Dressing.

If you're a beer lover in or around Baltimore, you've got no excuse.  Get down to Power Plant Live!, grab a beer at Luckie's Liquor, enjoy the rest of the awesome live music, nightlife, and more Power Plant has to offer.
