Calling all EXPERIENCED paddlers! Bring your kayak, canoe or paddle board and join us for a 5-MILE* paddle in Baltimore's Historic Inner Harbor.
Event Details
Bring your kayak, canoe or paddle board and join us for a 5-MILE* paddle in Baltimore's Historic Inner Harbor to rally for clean water, a Healthy Harbor and a saved Chesapeake Bay. Kayaks and SUP rentals are available with while supplies last.
Required to participate in event:
- Purchase a ticket through https://baltimorefloatilla.eventbrite.com
- Age restriction: 13-15 must share boat with parent or guardian; 16-18 parent or guardian must also participate in paddling event
- Have previous paddling experience and have paddled at least five continuous miles
- Coast Guard approved life jacket
- Bring your own boat or rent one through the registration process while supplies last
Beginning at 8:00AM we will launch boats from Canton Waterfront Park. Participants will paddle along the north shore of the Baltimore Harbor and paddle the 2.5 miles into the Inner Harbor. When we reach the Inner Harbor, we will hoist up banners and make some noise for a Healthy Harbor!
After posing for photos and drone flyovers, we will paddle back to the Canton Waterfront Park for the MOM's Organic Market with food and live music.
Registration includes: supervised and safe paddling route, event t-shirt, emergency whistle and lunch at the MOM's Organic Market After Party.

*Members of Chesapeake Kayak Adventures and WatersEdge Kayak Club who register for the event will be paddling an alternate 10-mile route.
