This event honors and remembers the FDNY firefighters who selflessly gave their lives so that others might live on 9-11-01. Each participant pays tribute to an FDNY firefighter by climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center.
Event Details
The entire community is invited to join us on Saturday, October 28, 2017 for Pelican Products 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland. This event honors and remembers the FDNY firefighters who selflessly gave their lives so that others might live on 9-11-01. Each participant pays tribute to an FDNY firefighter by climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. This is not a timed event or a race. Your individual tribute not only remembers the sacrifice of an FDNY brother, but symbolically completes their heroic journey to save others. Through firefighter and community participation we can ensure that each of the 343 firefighters is honored and the world knows that we will never forget.
This is a community-wide event and family friendly. You do not need to be a fire fighter to participate. Each participant receives an event t-shirt and challenge coin. After the event there will be a free Mission BBQ and an after party with music, reduced priced drinks and raffle prizes! Registration is only $35. The proceeds of these events help the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation create and maintain programs that support fire service survivors. Your support of the 9-11 Memorial Stair Climb events provides assistance to the surviving families and co-workers of the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.
