The Walters Art Museum offers in-person tours for adult and college or university groups to enjoy the Walters collection.
Event Details
The Walters Art Museum offers in-person tours in the galleries for adult and college groups, with opportunities for either docent-led or self-guided experiences. Please complete this registration form to reserve a date for your adult or college group group.
Tours are FREE. A voluntary contribution of $7 per participant will help us sustain educational programs for our communities.
Docent-led tours or self-guided visits are available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 2 PM. Docent-led group tours are 60 minutes long. We ask that your reservation be for a minimum of 5 participants.
After you complete your tour request form, you will be contacted by a Walters staff member to confirm details within five business days.

Special Exhibition: Activating the Renaissance (available until February 26th, 2023): Explore contemporary works of art, by primarily Maryland-based artists, in conversation with major masterpieces within the Walters Italian Renaissance and Baroque galleries. How do works from different centuries explore the same themes through the figurative arts?
Highlights of the Walters Collection : In 1931, Henry Walters bequeathed to the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, “for the benefit of the public,” the collections built by him and his father. Discover highlights from this collection and more recent acquisitions to the Walters Art Museum.
