Description
When the Halloween festivities come to an end, bring your jack-o’-lantern to the Maryland Science Center for a memorable send-off. Our pumpkin launch tube is ready to propel your gourd down four stories from MSC’s roof to the patio below!
Event Details
Important Information:
1. Pumpkin diameter MUST be under 15 inches at the widest point to fit through our rooftop drop chute.
2. Pumpkins will start to be collected on the Harbor Patio at 10:00am and all pumpkins must be dropped off by 11:50am.
3. MSC staff will be throwing the pumpkins off the roof as guests watch from the patio below.
4. Pumpkins will be numbered upon intake and announced pre-drop and during drop so you know when yours is being propelled to the ground below.
5. There will be two drops taking place at 11:00am and noon.
6. Participation in Pumpkin Smash is free to the public
