The 2013 Preakness Stakes will return to Pimlico Race Track in Baltimore later this month, but the races are only a fraction of all the great things going on during race weekend, taking place on Friday and Saturday, May 17-18.

The 2013 Preakness festivities will kick off on Friday, Black-Eyed Susan Day, with the People’s Pink Party and first ever infield concert featuring the Goo Goo Dolls, Rodney Atkins, and Rachel Farley performing live at Pimlico Field.

The People's Pink Party launched in 2010 to raise funds, aid awareness, and research for breast cancer.  This year's should be bigger and better than ever with this free concert and more at Pimlico Field.

The day will also include a 13-race program, headlined by the 89th running of $500,000 Black-Eyed Susan Stakes (G2) and the $300,000 Pimlico Special (G3).

The festivities will continue on Saturday, May 18, the official day of the 2013 Preakness Stakes Thoroughbred horse race where thousands will gather on the infield and stands of Pimlico Field to watch the races.

In addition to the Thoroughbred races, Pimlico Field will also play host to a great infield concert on race day featuring Afrojack, Pitbull and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis headlining the main stage with Chevelle, Florida Georgia Line and Kristen and the Noise performing on the Jägermeister stage.

Infield tickets to the 2013 Preakness Stakes begin at $70.  For tickets and more information, visit preakness.com.
