Her recipes are rustic, simple and vibrant in taste.Why fresh and seasonal cooking? It’s summer time which means we are surrounded by fresh produce grown by hard working farmers. Farm-to-table cooking focuses on using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients. In this class, Chef Alba will show the campers how to transform the best produce into a variety of savory dishes and even a sweet dish. We will also take a stroll and learn how to select seasonal vegetables at the food market to find ingredients that will be used when we cook. Campers are encouraged to be creative as well as learn to make delicious dishes. We eat what we cook and we provide recipes to take home.Cost: $70 per person.
