Join us for a night hike following the Leakin Park BioBlitz! We will be learning and looking for wild bats, owls, moths, frogs and other critters you can find at night in Leakin Park!

Event Details

Come learn all about bats with biologist Dr. Kirsten Bohn of Johns Hopkins University. We’ll watch live wild bats, as they forage for bugs in the sky, and even listen to their echolocation in real time, using the latest scientific technology! After watching wild bats we will go on a night hike looking and listening for frogs and owls!

There is limited space so please register in advance, walk-ins may not be able to participate!

The event is in partnership with Carrie Murray Nature Center.
