Join us at our 3rd Annual Southwest Palooza, a Building Community Festival, celebrating the community culture, people, and progress of Southwest Baltimore.
Event Details
This family fun festival will be full of resources, activities, and opportunities for you all who live, work, worship, and play in the Gem of Baltimore, Southwest Partnership seven neighborhoods - Pigtown, Barre Circle, Hollins Roundhouse, Union Square, Mount Clare, Franklin Square, and Poppleton.
Enjoy food from local vendors, live music, create art, play games, and connect with your neighborhood associations. Come to hear from Councilman Bullock and other city officials about the development of the area and the 2020 census. Don't forget to take our historic, horse and carriage, tour of West Baltimore Street, led by UMBC American Studies course!
This year, we are presenting awards for the following:
Best Block in the West - Clean Block Competition, block party winner
Businesses Building a Better Sowebo - Small business / Entrepreneurial highlight
Neighborhood Grant recipients
