Event Details

Join business leaders at the 2nd annual Business Impact Summit and explore how to harness community engagement practices to accelerate impact on your business, your employees, and your community.

While many companies today engage with and support their community, there underlies a tremendous opportunity for this impact to be multiplied both externally and internally. In year two of this Summit, we will once again convene regional business leaders committed to giving back and build upon the concept of community engagement as a business imperative while focusing on the strategies and proven tactics for businesses to “harness” its power.

Register today and hear how an intentional approach to community engagement is a win-win, building not only a stronger community, but healthier employees and a more successful business.

Opening Speaker: Seth Goldman, is Co- founder & TeaEO Emeritus of Honest Tea and Executive Chair of Beyond Meat, a rapidly expanding plant-based protein company. Seth, co-author of New York Times best seller “Mission in a Bottle”, created a Maryland- based global brand rooted in the core values of honesty, integrity, and sustainability. Seth’s commitment extends throughout Honest Tea’s business model and into an innovative mission-centered culture that makes corporate citizenship a core part of their operations and brand.

Closing Speaker: Jenny Lawson, is Chief Civic Innovation Officer and leader at Points of Light, leading forward-thinking initiatives, partnerships and campaigns to advance the mission of Points of Light around the world.

The Business Impact Summit includes opportunities to connect with fellow business leaders to share their best practices through a variety of workshops:

Workshop Group 1 - Strategies This group of workshops will explore a variety of internal strategies and systems that companies use to leverage the efforts of their community engagement.

Workshop Group 2 - Pathways This group of workshops will explore pathways that increase a company’s ability to train, recruit, and retain employees; increase their network; and improve their brand.
