So, we decided to grab the seminal guide to the Chesapeake's cuisine, Maryland's Way: The Hammond-Harwood House Cookbook, and recreate some of the great old recipes surrounding the tradition of eating hard crabs. While we set a pot of crabs up to steam we'll make Miss Adelaide Colhoun's Corn Fritters, Mrs. Clarence W. Miles, Fried Green Tomatoes, three great salads - Maryland Tomato, Potato and Mrs. Katherine Gittings Monvid's Coleslaw and roast some Maryland sweet corn on the cob. We'll finish with some fresh doughnuts and local peach preserve. $79.99
