The Photographer Is Listening: Edwin Remsberg's Images of Musical Tradition

The Photographer is Listening: Edwin Remsberg’s Images of Musical Traditions includes 25 photographs representing traditional musicians documented by Remsberg in his work with Maryland Traditions, the state folklife program.

Each photograph will be accompanied by a QR code linking to a multimedia presentation about the artist.

“Maryland’s folk traditions are so diverse and unique that they can sometimes be hard to describe in words." said Maryland Traditions director Chad Buterbaugh. "Edwin's images bring these traditions to like in a startlingly beautiful way.
