Join us for the Greater Baltimore History Alliance's Annual Member Meeting: Difficult Dialogue in Baltimore City

Event Details

s educators, historians, and docents of Baltimore City; it can be trying to facilitate a conversation around our city's complex history or even controversial subjects surrounding Baltimore itself.

Guest Speaker Braden Paynter, joins us from the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience, to share methods that'll challenge visitor preconceptions and foster productive dialogue as guest engage with your museums and historic sites.

As the Program Manager for Methodology and Practice, Braden supports Sites of Conscience members in developing programming, exhibitions and community engagement strategies. He also works with members to build the Coalition’s internal collection of resources, surfacing sites’ expertise, and sharing it with others. Braden has trained dozens of organizations in dialogue and planning. He advises both members and non-members, as well as consulted on the new permanent exhibit of the Niagara Falls Underground Rail Road Heritage Area.

Seating is limited. Ticket purchase required to reserve seating.

Light breakfast fare and refreshments provided.

GBHA Members : $10.00

Non-GBHA Members: $15.00
