- Eleanora Fagan AKA Billie Holiday(April 7, 1915 – July 17, 1959),
- Cabell Calloway III (December 25, 1907 – November 18, 1994,
- William Henry "Chick" Webb(February 10, 1905– June 16, 1939).
Yet the jazz community continues to thrive with the likes of John Lamkin, Kevin Jackson, Isaac Parham and Craig Alston.
The Baltimore Jazz Festival looks to continue with the tradition. We will be showing off the best Charm City has to offer with live music, crabs and laughter.
