Event Details
The second annual oysters, blues & brews combines all of the maritime experiences Maryland is known for and more.
Join us at Port Covington Marina located within the brand new Baltimore Peninsula to enjoy oysters and other great seafood from the Chesapeake, sip on a cold beer, shop with local vendors, dance to live music, and enjoy family friendly activities. Don’t miss the free family and youth fishing opportunities and a shoreline clean up.
Youth Fishing and the Shoreline Cleanup are back in 2024, plus help out with a Reef Ball Build! Kids and families will have the opportunity to either fish from shore or sign up to go out on a boat and fish an established oyster reef. Back on land, help us keep our waterways clean and vibrant by pitching in on a Peninsula wide clean up effort. CCA will also be creating new habitats for our marine life, with a reef ball-building event.
Enjoy selections of both raw and cooked Chesapeake Bay oysters, sampling the unique flavors imparted by the waters where they are raised. You will want to try them all! -Double T Oysters -Shore Thing Shellfish -More to be announced!
Music: Since 1990, The Original Moonlighters have been performing throughout the United States as one of the country’s best-loved and most authentic Motown and variety dance bands. Just close your eyes and you’ll swear the original artists are performing. Stay tuned as we announce even more acts joining us!
Food & Drinks
Complimenting the variety of local oysters will be additional food vendors serving up regional favorites and traditional seafood fare. Bar Movement will be on site with craft Absolute Bloody Marys and Orange Crushes as well as a beer and seltzer station provided by Chesapeake Brewing for all guests aged 21+ years. Check out the food vendors and adult beverage partners that are at the festival below. Looking for a sit down lunch or dinner? Head over to the newly reopened and iconic Rye Street Tavern or one of Baltimore's premier seafood restaurants: Nick's Fish House.
