The research is clear–social and emotional learning skills boost academic success and life satisfaction. CMHC clinicians are now offering a 6-week summer group called Kids' Rising for children ages 8 to 12 years of age
Kids Rising makes it easy to learn Emotional Intelligence (EQ) skills with fun, animated lessons, and therapeutic group interactions. Each of our 6 ninety-minute modules addresses topics such as self-esteem, anxiety, anger, friendships, or mindfulness. Two licensed mental health professionals use games and fun activities to engage even the toughest audience.
