A host of restaurants, museums, bars, art galleries, antique shops and other various retail establishments make up a burgeoning business and entertainment district along Ellicott City’s Main Street. However, these establishments do not cater directly to the ice cream consumer. During the day (Weekends, in particular) Ellicott City’s Main Street is crowded with families, couples and individuals whom walk up and down Main Street to soak up the history and frequent the local retail establishments. Many of these families and individuals cannot afford some of the more pricey restaurants that dot Main Street. These price conscious consumers are seeking a more affordable alternative. LaLa’s will meet this need. Lala’s will serve a variety of high quality hand dipped and soft service ice cream treats. Customers can order a couple of dips of Rocky Road and Cookies ‘n Cream to a delightful Vanilla and Chocolate twist soft serve cone. Patrons can also order a variety of fountain drinks to quench their thirst or satisfy their sweet tooth with homemade Brownies and Chocolate Chip Cookies In the evening, upon leaving bars, many consumers have a strong desire for a quick, inexpensive bite of food or treat. Currently these consumers have no place to go in downtown, Ellicott City. LaLa’s is the right product at the right time and place.
