About Ellicott City

Ellicotty City Maryland, along with Columbia, was ranked 4th out of the 100 Best Places to Live in the United States by CNN/Money and Money Magazine in July 2006. Founded in 1772, Ellicott City offers many historic sites including the Historic Ellicott City Main Street and the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Station. You will find a wide variety of restaurtants, antique shops, historical landmarks, haunted houses, and nightlife entertainment. Start the day with a stroll down Main Street Ellicott City and browse through antique stores, tattoo parlors & gift shops. Stop at a local cafe or diner for a quick snack before hiking up one of the hills for a great view of Historic Ellicott City. After taking several pictures make your way over to the Patapsco State Park where you can enjoy some more beautiful scenery and outdoor activities. But before the day is over, head back into town to enjoy a dinner at one of the many popular restaurants in Ellicott City Maryland. The night is not over, now enjoy some live music, socializing & a few drinks at one of the bars in Ellicott City, MD. The nightlife in Ellicott City may not be as crazy as a night out in Downtown Baltimore or Federal Hill but you can bar hop down Main Street before the night is over.
