Join Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake for the 4th Annual An Evening of Unexpected Delights on Saturday, October 25th beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Baltimore Convention Center. This progressive evening of exciting surprises will benefit The Journey Home, Baltimore City's 10-year plan to make homelessness rare and brief. Tickets are $300.00 per person and are available by calling 410-895-1338 or logging onto www.journeyhomebaltimore.org.
The event will feature a cocktail reception followed by dinner and an intimate performance from an award-winning artist who is gleefully small, but wickedly powerful. Following the concert will be dancing and dessert. Throughout the six-hour event, guests enjoy surprise after surprise!

The plan centers on a best practice known as Housing First, which emphasizes an increase in programs for men, women and families experiencing homelessness, as well as better coordination of existing services.
