If you're a long distance endurance runner in the Baltimore area, the B&A Trail Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday, March 4 will do you solid if you're looking for your next big running challenge.

Hosted by the Annapolis Striders, the B&A Trail Marathon and Half Marathon kicks off at Severna Park High School (60 Robinson Rd.) in Severna Park and travels down the beautiful Baltimore-Annapolis Trail for a comfortable, USATF-certified endurance run experience.  In early March, temperatures in the area range from 40 to 60 degrees, so pestering heat won't even be a factor.

This marathon and half marathon event is in memory of local Marine veteran, Lieutenant Colonel Ben Moore.  In addition to the actual runs, there will be a race expo at Severna Park High School where runners can pick up their packets and explore a variety of run related exhibits.

If you're looking to get fit for the New Year, the B&A Marathon or Half Marathon is a big goal, but it can be done.  Good luck and happy running!
