Beers and zoo animals; not a combination you probably hear about too often, but nonetheless pretty awesome, especially when it comes to an event like Brew at the Zoo 2012.

Presented by BB&T, Brew at the Zoo is going down on Saturday and Sunday, May 26 and 27 at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore.

Drink in the wildlife at this great Memorial Day Weekend event in Baltimore and sample over 50 different beers including national craft beers and a handful of Maryland favorites.  There will also be tons of food from local vendors as well as a Kids Zone perfect for the little ones looking to kill some time.

Of course, some great live music will do nothing but enhance your experience at Brew at the Zoo.  A handful of musicians will play at 1, 3, and 5 p.m. each day including (in order) Dagmar and the Seductions, Flow in the Dark, and Old Man Brown on Saturday and the 8-Balls, Jah Works, and the Kelly Bell Band on Sunday.

21+ General admission to either day of Brew at the Zoo at the Maryland Zoo is $45.  This includes admission to the Maryland Zoo, a commemorative glass, and unlimited samples.  General Admission for those under 21 or designated drivers is $25.  Zoo members get $10 off general admission at checkout.

VIP admission to either day of Brew at the Zoo costs $80 for those 21 and over.  VIP admission includes everything listed above as well as early access to the event, special VIP tent, a larger tasting glass, private bathrooms, and catered lunch and dinner from Famous Daves Barbeque.  VIP admission for those under 21 or designated drivers is $65.  Zoo members can get $15 off VIP admission at checkout.
